Cookie statement
Version of 21 September 2026, for the new website mdn.nl. This is a translation of the Dutch cookie statement. If the two differ, the Dutch version applies.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. We also use similar techniques, such as local storage. In this statement we call all of these cookies.
2. Our starting point
Our website only places cookies that are needed for the site to work. We do not track you, do not show you advertisements on other sites and do not load anything from third parties that places cookies. That is why we do not ask for your consent and why you will not see a cookie banner on our site.
3. Which cookies we use

Visitor statistics
We measure how many visitors the site has, which pages they view and how they arrive. We do this with Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting provider Vercel. It places no cookies and does not store IP addresses: a visit is recognised by an encrypted code that expires after 24 hours. The data is not shared with anyone else and not used for advertising. No consent is needed for this.
4. Maps, viewings and social media
- Maps. The maps with the listings, on the property pages and on the contact page come from the Kadaster, via PDOK. No cookies are placed. Your IP address is sent to the Kadaster in order to show the map, as with any website you visit. The data stays in the Netherlands.
- Booking a viewing. The viewing planner opens in a separate window at our supplier, only after you click the button. Until that click, nothing of theirs loads on our site.
- Google Street View. The button to view the street opens Google Street View in a new tab. Nothing from Google loads on our site itself.
- Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. The icons at the bottom of the page are ordinary links. Only when you click through do you arrive on that platform’s site, where their cookies and terms apply.
5. Deleting or blocking cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. How this works differs per browser and is explained in its help function. If you block the necessary cookies, some parts of the site will work less well.
6. Personal data
Insofar as we process personal data with cookies, our privacy statement applies. It also sets out who we share data with and what rights you have.
7. Changes
We update this statement as soon as we add or remove cookies. The current version is available on mdn.nl. This version is dated 21 September 2026.
